1. Kindly share the level of benefit for Group Life whether it is x3, x4, x5 of annual salary? X 5 of annual salary.

Clarification 1: Requirements for Life vs. General Insurance Providers

1. MR 6: Must be registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority – (MEDICAL CATEGORY); a certified copy of the current license must be submitted.
   Concern: Life insurance providers such as KOLAL are registered under the life category with the Insurance Regulatory Authority, not the medical category. We kindly request clarification on whether this requirement applies specifically to medical insurance providers, and if not, whether the equivalent life category license will be accepted for Group Life cover. Kindly refer amendment.
2. MR 11: Must provide a Sample Insurance Policy document for each of the following: Medical, WIBA, and Group Life. Concern: As a life insurance company, our scope is limited to Group Life cover, and we do not underwrite Medical or WIBA policies. Kindly confirm whether it is acceptable for life insurance providers to submit only the Group Life sample policy, while Medical and WIBA documents would apply exclusively to general insurers. Kindly refer amendment to the
   Clarification 2: Group Life Insurance Multiplier We also request confirmation and provision of the applicable multiplier for the Group Life Insurance cover. This is essential Kindly refer amendment to the amendment for developing accurate pricing and quotation calculations in accordance with the tender expectations

Any addendum & clarification issued form part of the bidding document and is binding on all bidders. All other terms and conditions of the tender remain the same.

N/B: Large tenders that cannot be dropped in the tender box shall be received and registered in the tender register on or before the closing time of 11:00 am, Monday, 14th JULY 2025.

PROVISION OF STAFF MEDICAL, WIBA AND GROUP LIFE INSURANCE COVER

1. The National Communication Secretariat invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Staff Medical, Wiba and Group Life Insurance Cover. The cover will be for a period of Two (2) years, subject to Satisfactory performance and execution of the Contract Starting from 22nd August 2025 to 21st August 2027.
2. Tendering will be conducted under the Open National Tendering method using a standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and registered Medical Cover, WIBA and Group Life Insurance Firms as stipulated in the Evaluation Criteria.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours, Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 4:00pm except for public holidays at the address given below:
